i Link - 슬림에그 설정: A comprehensive application for managing mobile routers
i Link is an official application provided by INFOMARK CO.LTD. for mobile routers. It allows users to conveniently manage the status of their routers using their smartphones or tablet devices. The app supports IML500 (KT Slim Egg) and all devices released after July 2017.
To use i Link, users must connect their mobile routers to their smartphones or tablets using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. After the connection is established, users can log in to the app using the default ID "user" and the initial password, which follows a specific rule based on the device model.
The app offers various features, including LTE signal strength, data usage display, battery level, connected device count, communication mode switching, power-saving mode, rebooting, turning off, and convenient functions such as USB tethering, location tracking, and automatic login. However, some features may not be available on devices that do not support Bluetooth.
Note that the "i Link location" feature does not work when the smartphone's location service is set to "off." Also, Android OS 8.0 devices may not display the app's status bar icon or notification bar. Users can fix this issue by adjusting the app's notification settings in the device's application settings.
